Remedial Shock Entertainment is the brainchild of two local Baltimore musicians, Annie Eidolon and Chris Boron. Chris and Annie are interested in helping out their fellow musicians in order that they can achieve their ultimate goal, whether it's simply being in a successful cover band that plays out every other weekend, or reaching for the brass ring in hopes of making it big! Every musician has a vision of what they want to do with their musical talents and skills. Remedial Shock Entertainment is here to help realize those visions.
Remedial Shock Entertainment currently provides musicians in the Baltimore/DC area with services and information such as - Music Lessons, Graphic Design, Web Design, and so much more! We believe in creating an atmosphere that is conducive to the local music scene, so you'll find that our fees are always reasonable, keeping the “starving artist” always in mind.
Remedial Shock Entertainment started out as a booking agency 7 years ago when Annie moved to Baltimore to seek out new opportunities in music. The initial function of Remedial Shock was to act as booking agency for Chris's band at the time. As time went by the band broke up, Chris joined a new band that already had a booking agent, and Remedial Shock was put on the back burner for the time being. In 1999 Annie started teaching voice lessons at the suggestion of well known area jazz guitarist and guitar teacher, Tobias Hurwitz. Through word of mouth and advertisements in local papers, Annie's voice lesson business began to grow. Recently Annie and Chris realized that together, with both their skills and talents, they had much more to offer the local music community than just voice lessons. Being that Chris is a very talented bass player and also plays guitar, and that Annie also plays guitar and keyboard, they decided to offer lessons in those areas as well. Annie has also done a significant amount of graphic and web design, both for bands she's been in and her own projects, and for other local musicians and businesses around the area. With all of these abilities and atributes in mind, and much more, Annie and Chris decided that it was time to take Remedial Shock Entertainment off the back burner and put it onto full boil again, offering a wide range of useful and informational services to area musicians, affordably helping them further their endeavors, whatever they may be. Thanks for visiting Remedial
